Thoughts on “Say Her Name”

  1. Not only something to think about, but this is something that happens in the city and it should be addressed by the officials who have the power to implement sensitivity training to those whose oath says they will protect and serve. The fact that when I was a young woman the police were the people in uniform I felt I could trust and who I surely believed would assist me to be a better citizen. I guess times and and the interpretation of the section in the oath that says I will protect and serve the public has a coded meaning for those children in distress.
