Dan Rowell is a freelance artist, writer, and photographer based in Chicago. They work in public health research focused on race- and gender-based health disparities and are the art director for 90 Days, 90 Voices, an immigrant storytelling project. Their art tells stories from a 29-year life as an intersex person. They work in comics, watercolors, screen printing, book arts, and digital media, and can hold a piece of toast in their mouth forĀ forty-five seconds without dropping it.
