#LetUsBreathe Collective (Xavier Paul)

This week on SSW Radio we talked with Kristiana Rae Colón of the #LetUsBreathe Collective and heard from the Weekly Read

What would the world look like without police and prisons? That’s what the #LetUsBreathe Collective, an artist and activist alliance in Chicago, works towards. South Side Weekly’s Jed Lickerman sat down with Kristiana Rae Colón, a founder of the #LetUsBreathe Collective. Colón talked about the history of the Collective and the relaunch of the #BreathingRoom space, “a Black-led arts, healing, and organizing hub on the South Side” in their new location in Back of the Yards.

The Weekly Read shared her take on soup from “s hole” countries.
